  Took my MacBook Pro there to get repaired and was told there was no charge for the diagnosis. They called me back and said they were unable to repair it and charged me $50. Fair enough, they're a small local business and I don't mind supporting them. Then, they told me they could give me my $50 back if I gave them my MacBook Pro to keep. The Mac still switches on and is not a $50 value. He then said, "We can especially give you $50 back if you give us the charger for it too." The charger is over $100 in value alone. This didn't rub me the right way, because they were trying to profit from someone else's ignorance. I still purchased a replacement laptop from them and was assured the battery worked fine. When I went to a business meeting in Toronto a week later, the laptop kept dying at 80% battery life. So, I lost hundreds of dollars and have a defective ProBook. What bothers me more than a couple hundred out the window is that they tried to make a profit at my expense. I don't think this is a bad business at all. I just think they need to be more genuine. I know local business is hard, but it's not right to take advantage of others. Going that extra mile for your customers to ensure everything is working properly makes all the difference.
